Towards 300 years
In 2016 Omsk turns 300.
The Plan of key activities for preparation and celebration of the 300th anniversary of Omsk was approved by the Order No. 2040-r of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2008.
The implementation of the Plan is one of the ways to attract investments to Omsk. In 2016, within the framework of the Plan it is planned to attract funds from the budgets of all levels in the amount of 633.9 million rubles.

In addition to the Plan for 2016 there are provisions for the subsidies of the federal and regional budgets for the renovation of the cultural monument "Omsk Fortress" in the amount of 474.42 million rubles.
In 2016, within the framework of the Plan it is scheduled to complete the implementation of 3 facilities including utility infrastructure, road network and social facilities:
- Construction of a transport junction at the intersection of 15 Rabochaya St. and Khabarovskaya St. with the construction of a railway overpass.
- Construction of a secondary school at Melnichnaya Street.
- Construction of a closed storm sewer system with water treatment facilities (along Zavertyaeva St.).
