Towards 300 years

In 2016 Omsk turns 300.

Official Tercentenary Festive Events Plan was signed into law by the Government of Russia Decree No. 2040-p on December 29, 2008.

Plan implementation is a common way of attracting investments to Omsk. In line with the plan, federal, regional and city budgets totally provide more than 2 billion rubles in 2015 for the purpose of plan implementation.

Within the bounds of the plan, in 2015 the construction of engineering infrastructure facilities continues resulting in the following:

• covered storm water drain with treatment facilities alongside Zavertyaeva Street;
• off-site utilities in the area of Zavertyaeva Street for territory comprehensive development.

Andrianova Street modernization

Besides, it is planned to construct and modernize some objects of street and road network as described below:

• traffic road on Zavertyaeva and 21 Amurskaya Street—from railroad overcrossing to Donetskaya Street (construction and modernization);
• traffic road on Andrianova Street (modernization);
• railroad overcrossing on 15 Rabochaya Street and Khabarovskaya Street crossing (new construction).

Kindergarten construction closing stage

In social sphere there are 4 sporting and educational objects under construction bringing into service in 2015:

• 2 kindergartens (on Melnichnaya Street and in Crystal-2 microdistrict);
• school (in microdistrict No. 5);
• covered ice rink with artificial ice (on Barkhatova Street).
